Welcome to New Hope Church

We meet Sundays at 10:00 am at the corner of North Prairie and West Walnut Streets in beautiful Lake City, Minnesota.  Come as you feel comfortable.  We have a casual and contemporary style of worship.

The mission of New Hope Church is to evangelize and disciple individuals (i.e., to proclaim the Gospel and to help people become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ).  This mission is in obedience to the “Great Commission” given by Jesus Christ to His disciples:

“Go and make disciples of all nations-baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19)  AND

“You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8b).

In remaining faithful to this mission statement New Hope Church has identified the following key areas of ministry to develop:

Worship

Each Sunday a praise and worship service is offered at 10:00 a.m.  We design ours services to communicate the truth of God’s Word in a language that people can easily identify with and convey the relevancy of a personal relationship with the one true God.

Outreach

New Hope utilizes special events and personal relationships to reach out to those who do not attend a church regularly.  New Hope continually explores new and creative ways to reach our community with the Gospel message.

Education/Ministry

New Hope seeks to guide people on a road to personal discovery, spiritual growth and maturity through Bible study groups, utilizing the Bible as our source of truth and training.

Fellowship

Small or “cell” groups meeting regularly or weekly in homes or publicly seek to cultivate relationships, encourage prayer, and support each other with Christian love and God’s Word.
